The Royal Academy of Engineering is delighted to host Professor Zhenya Liu, Chairman of GEIDCO, and former President and CEO of the State Grid Corporation of China, for a transformative seminar dedicated to exploring Chinese and UK perspectives on High Voltage transmission and its contribution to sustainable global energy networks.

GEIDCO is an international organization of willing firms, associations, institutions and individuals, promoting the establishment of a Global Energy Interconnection system in order to meet the global demand for electricity in a clean and green way, and to contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and climate change initiatives.

The seminar will be followed by a panel discussion, Q&A session, and networking reception.
