Established in 2014, the Energy and Poverty Research Group (EPRG) at the University of Queensland (UQ) is an interdisciplinary pan-UQ initiative that works to solve pressing global energy challenges in impoverished communities.
The group’s work focuses on developing sustainable, reliable and affordable energy solutions for a number of developing regions currently lacking access to electricity and clean cooking fuels.
