Transforming Energy Access: Innovations towards SDG7 Event

Several members of the LCEDN attended this event organised by the Carbon Trust in March.

The one-day event was convened on behalf of DfID and was dedicated to accelerating the transition between clean energy innovations and impact at scale, especially in Africa, through improved alignment of supportive policy and investment.

Prof. Ed Brown

Network Co-Coordinator, LCEDN; Professor of Global Energy Challenges (Loughborough)

Prof. Ed Brown co-founded the Low Carbon Energy for Development Network in January 2012 with Dr Jonathan Cloke, Professor Marcus Power and Paul Johnson. In his role as Network Co-Coordinator, Ed is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the Network and for the supervision of the Research Associates working for the Network.
